Everyone knows the theory of “freshman 15,” that is as a campus dwelling freshman in college, you are estimated to gain about fifteen pounds. Well a new theory has birthed from Country Day’s seniors that before we even get to college those fifteen pounds will have already been packed on as a result of constant senior themed meals provided by awesome room parents. For one, seniors grub on bagels and juice every Friday morning from Regence’s Einstein Bros. Bagels which at least half their profits, I’m guessing, are gained solely from the Country Day community. On top of bagels, we just had our first senior barbeque. Now if this food keeps coming, plus sports team themed meals, advisory snack, and off campus food, we all know the weight has to go somewhere. Remember all this eating is not a bad thing and merely an observation. But if anyone does gain fifteen pounds before graduation, I think we have a good idea of where the weight might have come from. So get ready to eat your way through our last year in high school class of ’11, because senior year is clearly one big feast.
