AP Biology Class Visits the Tide Pools

The AP Biology classes celebrated the end of a busy year by visiting the tide pools at Tourmaline Beach.  The highlight of the trip was finding a collection of brittle stars!  There are great low tides in the morning all weekend--take some time out and enjoy the San Diego coast this weekend and go tide pooling with your friends and family!

Tuesday May 22nd, it turns out, was an historic day for La Jolla Country Day School. As the school day ended, as the echoes of the bell tolling the last day of senior classes still echoed through the campus, virtually all of the staff and faculty gathered near the amphitheater to mark the end of eight extraordinary Country Day careers.
